DECOUPAGE: Guardanapo Opaco e Colagem Lisa - DIY - (Opaque Napkin and Smooth Collage) - VÍDEO

Quando usamos guardanapo para decoupar vidros, papéis, louça, etc...conseguimos uma decoupagem perfeita porque usamos pequenas partes do guardanapo, aplicamos pincel com cola por cima e pronto!
Usar guardanapos para fazer Decoupage é uma ótima maneira de enfeitar nossos trabalhos mas quando precisamos usar o guardanapo em tamanho grande sempre nos vem à mente a visão de uma superfície não muito lisa, com "rugas", porque a colagem do guardanapo fica mais difícil de ser feita.
Como deixar a decoupage o mais lisa possível?
A técnica que vou mostrar aqui será aplicada em papel mas pode ser feita em qualquer superfície: em garrafas, pratos, copos, imagens em gesso, caixas, etc....
Vou aplicar em papel porque depois usarei esse papel decoupado para fazer um envelope.
Na foto abaixo, eu coloco meu guardanapo em cima do papel que quero decoupar e com lápis faço o contorno. Guardanapos vem com folhas triplas, mas já descolei a parte do desenho das outras duas obtendo assim um guardanapo com folha bem fina, quase transparente.
When we use napkins to decoupage glasses, papers, boxes, etc ... we get a perfect decoupagem because we use small parts of the napkin, we apply brush with glue over all and we're ready!
Using napkins to make Decoupage is a great way to embellish our work but when we need to use the full-size napkin it always comes to our mind the sight of a not too smooth surface, with "wrinkles" because glueing a napkin on a large surface is quite hard to be done.
How to leave the decoupage as smooth as possible?
The technique I will show here will be applied on paper but can be done on any surface: in bottles, plates, glasses, plaster images, boxes, etc ....
I will apply it on paper because later I will use this decoupage paper to make an envelope.
In the picture below, I put my napkin on the paper that I want to decoupage and with a pencil I make the outline. Napkins come with triple sheets, but I already took off the drawing part from the other two, thus getting a napkin with a very thin, almost transparent sheet.
Em seguida, preencho com cola para decoupage a parte que delimitei com lápis e é preciso que isso seja feito rapidamente, antes que a cola comece a secar.
Then I fill in the delimited part with decoupage glue and this must be done quickly, before the glue begins to dry.
Delicadamente coloco o guardanapo sobre a cola e estico suavemente as beiradas na tentativa de que meu guardanapo não fique encolhido.
Gently, I place the napkin over the glue and gently stretch the edges in the attempt to keep my napkin from shrinking.
Coloco um plástico maior que o meu guardanapo por cima,
I put a plastic bigger than my napkin on top,
e com uma dobradeira vou, delicadamente e com pressão bem suave, alisando o plástico e consequentemente ajudando o guardanapo a colar, mas sem rugas. Faço movimentos circulares, horizontais e verticais conforme a necessidade em evitar ou até em desfazer possíveis rugosidades.
and with a folder I begin, gently and with very soft pressure, smoothing the plastic and consequently helping the napkin to paste, but without wrinkles. I make circular, horizontal and vertical movements according to the need to avoid or even undo possible roughness.
Com cuidado retiro o plástico e deixo a decoupage secar completamente.
Carefully I remove the plastic and let the decoupage dry completely.
Corto o excesso de papel e pronto: uma decoupage com nenhuma ruga ou com o mínimo de rugas.
I cut the excess paper and it is ready: a decoupage with no wrinkle or with less wrinkles.
A seguir, esta etapa é opcional e depende do quanto precisamos que nosso guardanapo seja liso: é a hora de passar a ferro.
A temperatura deve ser "algodão", e suavemente tentamos disfarçar qualquer ruga que tenha sido feita no ato da colagem.
This step is optional and depends on how much we need our napkin to be smooth: it's time to iron.
The temperature should be "cotton", and we gently try to disguise any wrinkles that have been made at the time of glueing.
E pronto! Uma decoupagem linda, lisa, perfeita para nossos trabalhos!
