ATC (Artist Trading Cards) são pequenos cartões artísticos que qualquer pessoa pode fazer usando qualquer técnica, e trocar com gente do mundo todo!!
Falando em trocas, temos um grupo no Facebook para fazer essas trocas, vem trocar!
O grupo é para todos que queiram fazer essa arte, inclusive para pessoas fora do Brasil, então vem!

Tudo começou com o artista suíço Stirnman, em 1996, quando ele teve a ideia de fazer arte em pequenos cartões de 2,5" x 3,5" (4,6cm x 8,9cm) e trocar com pessoas. Ele queria que todos pudessem fazer arte e divulga-la gratuitamente através da troca desses cartões.
Então em 1997 ele fez uma exposição onde apresentou 1200 cartões, feitos por ele mesmo! A maior parte desses cartões foi dada ao público como incentivo e apresentação da ideia, e alguns poucos cartões foram trocados com amigos que já sabiam da ideia e gostaram.
E assim aconteceu, as trocas foram acontecendo e atualmente milhares de pessoas trocam essas pequenas obras de arte pelo mundo todo, remetidas por Correio.
A única regra é quanto ao tamanho do cartão, que deve ser com as medidas acima.
Pode-se fazer qualquer tipo de arte nesses cartões: desenho, aquarela, pintura acrílica, colagem decoupage, mixed media art....... e assim vemos como pessoas de culturas diferentes interpretam e sentem a Arte.
Também aprendemos bastante a usar materiais e a aproveitar materiais que tecnicamente nem são artísticos (quando fazemos mixed media art), lidamos com o improviso quando dá errado, melhoramos nossa concentração, conhecemos outras pessoas, enfim, uma terapia num pequeno pedaço de papel.
Amei a ideia, eu já conhecia e apesar de não ter tempo pra fazer mais alguma coisa relacionada á arte achei que poderia dispor de uns minutos pra fazer arte em um cartão, afinal, é um cartão bem pequeno.
No vídeo abaixo mostro como fiz estes cartões, fácil de entender.
Usei papel branco 120g/m², papel metalizado azul 180g/m², tinta acrílica, guilhotina, cortador manual de floco de neve, gesso acrílico branco, pedaço de caixa de cereal, tesoura, cola pra decoupage, carimbeira Archival Ink Aquamarine, espuma, glicerina líquida, pó para emboss transparente, aquecedor para emboss, carimbo florido, placa de acrílico, cristais pequenos, carimbo de bandeirola, fita banana, caneta Gel branca, caneta metálica azul da Sakura.

Then, in 1997 he made an exhibition where he presented 1200 cards, made by himself! Most of these cards were given to the public as an incentive and presentation of the idea, and a few cards were exchanged with friends who already knew the idea and liked it.
The exchanges were happening and today thousands of people exchange these small pieces of art all over the world, sent by Mail.
The only rule is about the size of the card, which should be with the measurements above.
You can make any type of art on these cards: drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, decoupage collage, mixed media art ....... and thus we see how people of different cultures interpret and feel the Art.
We also learn a great deal of material and take advantage of materials that are not technically artistic (when we do mixed media art), we deal with improvisation when it goes wrong, we improve our concentration, we meet other people, it is a therapy on a small piece of paper.
I loved the idea, I already knew it and although I do not have time to do anything else related to art I thought I could have some few minutes to make art on a card, after all, it's a very small card.

I used white paper 120g / m², 180g / m² blue metallic paper, acrylic paint, guillotine, manual snowflake cutter, white acrylic plaster, cereal box piece, scissors, decoupage glue, Archival Ink Aquamarine, foam, glycerine, transparent embossing powder, emboss heater, flowery stamp, acrylic plate, small crystals, flag stamp, banana ribbon, white gel pen, Sakura blue metallic pen.
