Cortadores são ferramentas muito úteis e que nos ajudam a elevar nossa arte ao próximo nível, mas ter um cortador específico para cantos, outro para retas e outro para círculos pode sair bem caro!
Além disso nem sempre achamos os mesmos desenhos de corte, e gostamos de tudo combinando, né?
Cutters are very useful tools that help us raise our art to the next level, but having a specific cutter for corners, another for straight and another one for circles can be very expensive!
Besides, we do not always find the same cut designs, and we like them all, don't we?
Mas com o cortador cantoneira podemos ter as 3 funções de corte, é o famoso 3 em 1.
But with the corner cutter we can have the 3 cutting functions, it's the famous 3 in 1.
Usa-lo com cantoneira é fácil e a condição básica é que o canto do papel tenha 90º para que encaixe perfeitamente no cortador.
Using it as a corner is easy and the basic condition is that the edge of the paper is 90º so that it fits perfectly in the cutter.
Quando abrimos a pequena porta na parte de baixo do cortador podemos ver como o papel fica encaixado e como o corte é feito.
When we open the small door at the bottom of the cutter we can see how the paper is seated and how the cut is made.
Para cortarmos em linha reta, precisamos remover a parte do cortador onde se encaixa o papel quando queremos cortar o canto, assim ele passa a ser um cortador comum, desabilitamos a parte de cortar os cantos com essa remoção.
To cut straight, we need to remove the part of the cutter where the paper fits when we want to cut the corner, so it becomes a common cutter, we disable the part of cutting the corners with that removal.
Dessa maneira podemos posicionar corretamente o cortador ao lado do corte que já fizemos, precisamos dessa referência, e assim vamos fazendo os cortes, um ao lado do outro, na distância que quisermos.
In this way we can correctly position the cutter next to the cut that we have already done, we need this reference, and so we make the cuts, side by side, in whatever distance we want.
Pra que a distância entre um corte e outro seja a mesma podemos observar algum detalhe que servirá como chave de posicionamento até o fim do papel. No caso, o meu cortador é colocado de forma a deixar um pequeno círculo vazado entre um corte e outro, essa é a minha chave!
For the distance between one cut and another is the same we can see some detail that will serve as a positioning key until the end of the paper. In my case, my cutter is placed so as to leave a small circle leaked between one cut and another, this is my key!
E assim temos um corte reto, feito com um cortador cantoneira!
And so we have a straight cut, made with a corner cutter!
Quando usamos um cortador reto, observamos que acima da ferramenta há um desenho que nos diz o tamanho do corte. Você pode medir esse desenho e calcular o tamanho do seu papel para que seja múltiplo dessa medida, e dessa forma quando você acabar de cortar o papel inteiro não haverão cortes pela metade, tudo ficará perfeito. When we use a straight cutter, we notice that above the tool there is a drawing that tells us the size of the cut. We can measure this drawing and calculate the size of our paper so that it is multiple of that measurement, so that when we finish cutting the entire paper there will be no cuts in half, everything will be perfect. (See the video to understand better).
Na parte de baixo do cortador também há a indicação, através de uma imagem, de onde posicionar o papel, e conforme vamos cortando vamos encaixando o papel nessa imagem (ou desenho) para termos o corte perfeito no fim do trabalho.
At the bottom of the cutter there is also the indication, through an image, of where to position the paper, and as we are cutting we will fit the paper in this image (or drawing) to have the perfect cut at the end of the work.
É preciso treinar um pouco, pra pegar o jeito, mas o resultado é ótimo!
You have to train a little, to get the hang of it, but the result is great!
E assim, com um cortador cantoneira podemos fazer vários enfeites!
And so, with a corner cutter we can make various embellishments!
