Vamos fazer um envelope caixa para pequenos objetos, ou para pequenos papéis, aqui não há a preocupação em fazer uma determinada medida ou tamanho.
Let's make an envelope box for small objects, or for small papers, here there is not the concern in making a particular measure or size.
Então escolhemos uma medida e fazemos um envelope, que pode ser de qualquer tamanho.
So we choose a measure and we make an envelope, which can be of any size.
Quando o nosso envelope caixa estiver pronto, ele será menor que o envelope usado para faze-lo, como mostra a foto abaixo.
When our envelope box is ready, it will be smaller than the envelope used to make it, as shown in the photo below.
No caso do nosso exemplo, a marcação ou Score Line que está na ferramenta foi 6,7. Usei a tabela em centímetros e não em polegadas, mas não importa se você usa centímetros ou polegadas.
Na foto abaixo vemos a marcação 6,7 e o indicador azul corretamente posicionado na dobra do envelope.
In our example, the Score Line was 6.7, I used the table in centimeters and not in inches, but it does not matter if you use centimeters or inches.
In the photo below we see the Score Line 6.7 and the blue indicator correctly positioned in the fold of the envelope.
Agora vou escolher uma medida menor, ou seja, à direita da minha Score Line de 6,7.........vou escolher a medida 5,5!
Now I will choose a smaller measure, that is to the right of my Score Line of 6.7 ......... I will choose the score line 5.5!
Posiciono o envelope nessa medida e faço um novo vinco.
I place the envelope in this measure and make a new crease.
Giro o envelope até o lado oposto e com a mesma marcação de 5,5 faço mais um vinco.
Repare que os 2 novos vincos ficam na parte de dentro dos vincos anteriores, por isso eu disse que o envelope caixa quando pronto é menor que o envelope original.
I turn the envelope to the opposite side and with the same score of 5.5 I make another crease.
Note that the 2 new creases stay in the inside of the previous creases, that's why I said the envelope box when ready is smaller than the original envelope.
Agora giro o envelope para fazer os vincos das extremidades, da seguinte forma:
posiciono a ponta azul na dobra do envelope original e deslizo o envelope de forma que a outra parte da ferramenta (que não tem ponta) fique exatamente em cima dessa dobra original do envelope.
Faço isso nas duas extremidades que faltam.
Now turn the envelope to make the creases of the ends, as follows:
position the blue tip on the fold of the original envelope and slide the envelope so that the other part of the tool (which has no tip) lies exactly on top of that original envelope fold.
I do this on both ends that are missing.
Todas essas marcações e vincos tem como resultado deixar o envelope com 2 marcações, como mostra a foto abaixo.
All these scores and creases result in leaving the envelope with 2 scores, as shown in the picture below.
Fazemos cortes, de forma a deixar abas próprias de caixas.
We make cuts, in order to leave tabs like those we see in regular boxes.
Dobramos e reforçamos um pouco os vincos mas ainda não é hora de colar, precisamos enfeitar nosso envelope caixa primeiro!
We fold and reinforce the creases a bit but it is not yet time to paste, we need to embelish our envelope box first!
Depois de todos os enfeites e colagens, pinturas, etc.... vamos montar e colar o envelope!
After all the embellishments and collages, paintings, etc .... let's assemble and paste the envelope!
