Hoje vou mostrar como fazer este Envelope-caixa, e nele você pode guardar cartões, selos, pequenos objetos, recortes, etc....

E podemos guardar muitas coisas pequenas porque a lateral do envelope é larga o suficiente para isso.

Na semana passada eu mostrei como fazer um Envelope-caixa onde o tamanho não importava, mas neste post (e vídeo) vou mostrar como fazer um Envelope-caixa com tamanho específico para o que queremos guardar, por exemplo, quero fazer um Envelope-caixa para guardar alguns cartões do tamanho deste verde da foto.

Este cartão verde mede 11cm x 8cm.

Last week I showed how to make an Envelope-box where the size did not matter, but in this post (and video) I will show you how to make an Envelope-box with a specific size for what we want to save, for example, I want to make an Envelope-box to keep some cards like this green one on the photo.

This green card measures 11cm x 8cm.

Na minha ferramenta, na parte do "Card Size" procuro uma medida igual ou ligeiramente superior ao meu cartão verde, e neste caso a medida do Card Size na ferramenta é 8,0cm x 11,4cm.

O tamanho do papel quadrado necessário pra fazer um envelope com essa medida de Card Size é de 17,1cm x 17,1cm e a Score Line é 7,6.

Todas essas medidas estão em centímetros e são fornecidas pela nossa ferramenta Envelope Punch Board.

In my tool, in the "Card Size" part, I look for a measurement that is equal to or slightly higher than my green card, and in this case the measure of the Card Size in the tool is 8.0cm x 11.4cm.

The size of the square paper needed to make an envelope with this Card Size measurement is 17.1cm x 17.1cm and the Score Line is 7.6.

All of these measurements are in centimeters and are provided by the Envelope Punch Board tool.

Nosso Envelope-caixa tem esse nome porque parece uma caixa porque tem uma lateral maior, como uma caixa mesmo.

E no Envelope-caixa da semana passada eu afirmei que vamos marcar essa lateral para dentro do nosso envelope, e o mesmo acontece neste nosso caso.

Por isso, vamos adotar a medida seguinte marcada na nossa ferramenta, então em vez de 17,1cm x 17,1cm, vamos escolher a medida do papel (Paper Size) 18,4cm x 18,4cm.

Our Envelope-box has this name because it looks like a box as it has a larger side, like a box itself.

And in the last week's Envelope-Box post I stated that we're going to mark that larger side of the envelope inside our envelope, and today we are going to do the same.

Let's use the next measurement marked on our tool, so instead of 17.1cm x 17.1cm, we'll choose the Paper Size 18.4cm x 18.4cm.

Cortamos o papel na medida escolhida 18,4cm x 18,4cm, com Score Line de 7,9cm e fazemos o envelope normalmente.

We cut the paper in the chosen measure 18.4cm x 18.4cm, with Score Line of 7.9cm and we make the envelope as usual.

Coloco meu cartão verde no meio do envelope e vejo qual é a menor medida do cartão verde até a dobra do envelope porque as medidas em volta dele não são iguais.

I put my green card in the middle of the envelope and I seek the smallest measure of the green card until the envelope fold, because the measurements around it are not the same.

Meço o espaço entre o cartão e a dobra, no sentido da largura e também no sentido do comprimento do cartão e vejo que no sentido da largura tenho apenas 1cm de cada lado, enquanto que no sentido do comprimento tenho mais de 1cm.

Ou seja, o máximo que posso dobrar é 1cm, que é quanto terá a lateral do meu envelope.

I measure the space between the card and the fold in the direction of the width and also in the direction of the length of the card and I see that in the direction of the width I have only 1cm of each side, whereas in the direction of the length I have more than 1cm.

That is, the maximum I can fold is 1cm, which is how much the side of my envelope will be.

Com um lápis, marco 1cm do lado de dentro da dobra.

With a pencil, I mark 1cm from the inside of the fold.

Com o envelope na ferramenta, posiciono a parte azul (que não tem bico) em cima da linha que fiz com o lápis e faço um vinco.

With the envelope on the tool, I place the blue part (which has no beak) on the line I made with the pencil and make a crease.

Quando faço o vinco, eu observo a marcação numérica na parte esquerda da ferramenta, neste caso, 6,6cm.

When I do the crease, I notice the numbering on the left side of the tool, in this case, 6,6cm.

Giro o envelope a 180º, posiciono a parte esquerda do papel na marca 6,6 e faço um novo vinco.

I turn the envelope 180º, position the left part of the paper in the mark 6.6 and make a new crease.

Dessa forma tenho as partes referentes ao comprimento do meu envelope, totalmente vincadas.

That way I have the parts regarding the length of my envelope, fully creased.

Para vincar as laterais é simples, desta vez não preciso de medidas. Sabemos que essa ferramenta tem, á direita, o local para fazer um vinco, uma depressão reta.

Coloco o envelope na ferramenta de forma a fazer um vinco onde está faltando. Vejo, do lado esquerdo, duas marcações que serão a lateral do meu envelope. Posiciono a parte azul da ferramenta (sem bico) na dobra mais afastada e assim consigo fazer mais um vinco, desta vez na parte da largura do envelope.

Sei que parece confuso pra entender, por isso sugiro que você assista ao vídeo logo abaixo mesmo que não entenda português, porque com esta leitura e a visualização no vídeo fica fácil de entender.

To crease the sides is simple, this time I do not need measurements. We know that this tool has on the right, the place to make a crease, a straight depression.

I put the envelope on the tool to make a crease where it is missing. I see, on the left side, two markings that will be the side of my envelope. I place the blue part of the tool (no spout) in the farthest fold so I can make another crease, this time on the width of the envelope.

I know it seems confusing to understand, so I suggest you watch the video below even if you do not understand Portuguese, because with this reading and the visualization in the video it is easy to understand.

Depois de todos os vincos prontos, corto os excessos nas laterais para formar as abas do envelope-caixa.

After all the wrinkles are ready, I cut the excesses on the sides to form the flaps of the envelope-box.

Faço o teste: meu cartão verde tem que caber perfeitamente dentro do meu envelope-caixa!

I do the test: my green card has to fit perfectly inside my envelope-box!
