Velas decoradas com Decoupage #2- DIY (Candles decorated with Decoupage)

No post de ontem mostrei fotos de 2 velas decoradas com a técnica de Decoupage e um vídeo mostrando o passo a passo de como colar o guardanapo em uma vela. Ontem eu fiz a vela natalina e hoje vou mostrar, por fotos, como fiz a outra vela.
Mas veja que uma vez que se aprende a colar o guardanapo em uma vela isso vale pra todas, não importa o tamanho e o formato da vela: pode ser uma vela enorme, e nesse caso usamos o guardanapo inteiro ou vamos colando pedaços de guardanapos até que a vela esteja toda coberta. Pode ser uma vela quadrada, triangular, redonda, em qualquer formato.
In the previous post I showed photos of 2 candles decorated with the technique of Decoupage and a video showing, step by step, how to stick a napkin in a candle. Yesterday I made a Christmas candle and today I'm going to show, by pictures, how I made the other candle.
But note that once you learn how to glue the napkin to a candle, this is true for everyone, no matter the size and shape of the candle: it can be a huge candle, and in that case we use the whole napkin or we stick pieces of napkins so the candle is all covered. It can be a square, triangular, round candle, in any shape.
Pra essa técnica eu preciso de:
- 1 guardanapo;
- 1 aquecedor de emboss;
- 1 folha de papel vegetal.
- detalhes opcionais pra decorar como pérolas, fitas, pedras brilhantes, tinta relevo para fazer pequenas bolinhas, purpurina, cola pra fixar esses detalhes.....enfim....o que a sua imaginação quiser!
For this technique we need:
- 1 napkin;
- 1 emboss heater;
- 1 sheet of parchment paper.
- optional details to decorate like pearls, ribbons, shiny stones, relief paint to make small balls, glitter, glue to fix these details ..... anyway ... whatever your imagination wants!
Vamos medir o tamanho do guardanapo em relação à vela e cortar o excedente.
Let's measure the size of the napkin in relation to the candle and cut off the excess.
Os guardanapos normalmente tem 3 camadas de papel, vamos retirar as 2 camadas brancas e usar apenas a camada que tem o desenho. As outras 2 você pode usar pra fazer Arte do Dia.
The napkins usually have 3 layers of paper, we will remove the 2 white layers and use only the layer that has the design. The other 2 we can use to do Art Journaling.
Agora vamos colocar o guardanapo sobre a vela, posicionando de acordo com o desenho e cortando o guardanapo com as mãos, ajustando pra que um desenho não fique sobre o outro.
Now let's put the napkin on the candle, positioning it according to the drawing and cutting the napkin with the hands, adjusting so that one drawing is not over the other.
O papel vegetal deve ser colocado sobre a vela (que está coberta com o guardanapo) e mantido firme pois agora é o momento de aquecer a vela.
The parchment paper should be placed on the candle (which is covered with the napkin) and kept firm because now is the time to warm the candle.
Com o aquecedor ligado e sem encostar na vela vamos aquecendo toda a superfície e "como mágica" vemos o guardanapo aderir á vela, sob o papel vegetal.
With the heater on and without leaning on the candle let's heat the entire surface and "like magic" we see the napkin adhere to the candle under the parchment paper.
Após o aquecimento de toda a vela retiramos o papel vegetal ........
After heating all the candle we remove the parchment paper ........
E voilà! Uma vela perfeita e linda!
And voilà! A perfect and beautiful candle!
E por fim, é só usar a imaginação e o material que tivermos pra decorar a vela! Não precisa envernizar, aliás, não podemos usar verniz porque é um material inflamável!
E assim temos uma linda vela pronta pra decorar a casa, pra dar de presente e pra vender e o melhor é que podemos fazer essa arte o ano inteiro com materiais simples, fáceis de achar e econômicos.
And finally, just use the imagination and the material that you have to decorate the candle! No need to varnish, in fact, we can not use varnish because it is a flammable material!
And so we have a beautiful candle ready to decorate the house, to give as a gift, to sell and the best thing is that we can make this art the whole year with simple and easy to find materials.
