Olá!

Quantas vezes apoiamos nosso sketchbook em algum lugar e ele cai? Quantas vezes vamos fazer desenhos e pinturas na rua ou em viagem e não temos uma mesinha decente pra apoiar nosso precioso sketchbook? Bom, comigo já aconteceu várias vezes até que um dia eu resolvi fazer minha própria mesinha, ou prancheta, que eu pudesse levar pra todos os lugares, colocar no colo, e pintar com tranquilidade.

How many times do we support our sketchbook somewhere and it falls? How many times do we do drawings and paintings on the street or on the road and do not have a decent little table to support our precious sketchbook? Well, with me it happened several times until one day I decided to make my own little table, or drawing board, that I could take everywhere, put on my lap, and paint with peace of mind.

Então fiz uma prancheta, ou mesinha (não importa o nome) com um sistema de aba que fecha e abre, ou seja, ela expande pra ficar maior.

A minha é bem simples, com apenas uma aba. De um lado posso prender folhas avulsas e do outro é só abrir a aba e prender meu estojo de aquarela e meu sketchbook. Nada mais cai no chão!

So I made a drawing board, or little table (no matter the name) with a flap system that closes and opens, that is, it expands to get bigger.

Mine is very simple, with only one flap. On one side I can attach single sheets and on the other I just open the flap and attach my watercolor case and my sketchbook. Nothing else falls to the ground!

Nesta foto está minha mesinha com meu estojo e meu sketchbook, um tamanho prático pra colocar dentro de bolsa ou mochila: A4, e quando a aba está aberta fica um pouco maior, claro.

In this photo is my little table with my case and my sketchbook, a practical size to put inside a bag or backpack: A4, and when the flap is open it gets a little bigger, of course.

No vídeo logo abaixo eu mostro como fazer uma, que pode ser do tamanho que você quiser mas não esqueça que ela deve ser portátil portanto um tamanho que caiba na sua bolsa ou mochila e que também não fique pesada. 

É importante que você entenda o mecanismo, entenda como fazer, e a partir daí você consegue fazer mesinhas (ou pranchetas) de qualquer tamanho e até com mais abas como esta que vou mostrar.

In the video below I show you how to make one, which can be the size you want but do not forget that it should be portable so a size that fits in your purse or backpack and also does not get heavy. It's important that you understand the mechanism, understand how to make it, and from there you can make small tables (or drawing boards) of any size and even with more flaps like the one I'm going to show.

Você precisa de papelão para fazer a base, bem firme, no tamanho A4 por exemplo ou outro qualquer da sua preferência; um outro pedaço de papelão para fazer a aba maior,que tenha o mesmo comprimento da parte maior do tamanho A4 do papelão anterior, e um outro papelão menor pra fazer mais uma aba, caso você ache que realmente precisa de outra aba. A minha mesinha tem apenas uma e já é o suficiente pra mim. Amplie as fotos para ver as medidas se quiser fazer igual.

You will need a cardboard to make the base, very firm, A4 size for example or any other of your preference; another piece of cardboard to make the larger flap, which is the same length as the larger A4 size portion of the previous cardboard, and another smaller cardboard to make one more flap if you think you really need another flap. My little table has only one and that's enough for me. Enlarge the photos to see the measurements if you want to do the same.

Depois de tudo cortado é a hora de prender as abas à base com fita adesiva bem larga, de um lado e do outro da base. Está tudo no vídeo, dê uma olhadinha.

After all is cut off it is time to fasten the flaps to the base with very wide adhesive tape, on one side and the other on the base. It's all in the video, take a look.

E pronto! Uma mesinha útil e prática pra você levar pra qualquer lugar! Você pode deixa-la assim ou encapa-la com tecido, é só passar cola em toda a superfície e colocar um tecido de algodão por cima, alisando (sem esticar) o tecido pra evitar bolhas.

Se você forrar a mesinha, use tecido com cor lisa e suave como cinza, bege.....evite cores fortes. Não use papel pra encapar.

And it's eady! A useful little table to take anywhere! You can leave it like this or cover it with fabric, just glue it across the surface and put a cotton cloth on top, smoothing (without stretching) the fabric to avoid bubbles.



Choose  fabric with a smooth  color like gray, beige ..... avoid strong colors. Do not use paper to cover.

Lista de Material:

- papelão Paraná (ou outro que seja grosso e firme) com os seguintes cortes: 

 31,5 x 27 cm para a base; 31,5 x 10 cm para a aba comprida; 17 x 16 cm para a aba menor (esta aba é opcional).

- cola branca (apenas se precisar reforçar o papelão);

- estilete;

- lápis;

- régua metálica;

- fita adesiva larga;

- ímãs (opcionais);

- tecido de algodão liso e com cor neutra pra encapar (opcional).



Material:

- cardboard (or other that is thick and firm) with the following cuts:

  31.5 x 27 cm for the base; 31.5 x 10 cm for the long flap; 17 x 16 cm for the smaller flap (this flap is optional).

- white glue (only if you need to reinforce the cardboard);

- stiletto

- pencil;

- metallic ruler;

- wide adhesive tape;

- magnets (optional);

- plain cotton fabric with neutral color to cover (optional).


Veja como ela fica depois de pronta e com o material de pintura preso nela. Fica ótima, né?
