Halloween, a época mais mágica do ano está chegando e com ela os Junk Journals mais criativos e divertidos do mundo!!
Claro que muitas pessoas, especialmente nos EUA, fazem Junk Journals, mas aqui no Brasil são poucas pessoas que sabem até mesmo o que é um Junk Journal.
Halloween, the most magical time of the year is coming and with it the most creative and fun Junk Journals in the world!!!
Of course, many people, especially in the USA, make Junk Journals, but here in Brazil few people even know what a Junk Journal is.
E por não saberem o que é um Junk Journal me perguntam para que serve.
Minha resposta é ampla: Você pode usa-lo para anotar seus compromissos fazendo um controle de tarefas diárias, como cadernos para anotações criativas, ideias de projetos e esboços de arte, como livro de receitas temáticas de Halloween, como álbum de fotos, para guardar suas lembranças colocando ainda mais papéis nele, pode anotar seus sonhos, pode presentear amigos e familiares com ele e, claro, pode ser este o seu presente também!
And because they don't know what a Junk Journal is, they ask me what it's for.
My answer is broad: You can use it to keep track of your daily tasks, as a notebook for creative notes, project ideas and art sketches, as a Halloween-themed recipe book, as a photo album, to store your memories by putting even more paper in it, you can write down your dreams, you can give it to friends and family and, of course, it can be your gift too!
É um livro recheado de papéis, de imagens fofas e misteriosas, é quase um brinquedo por conta de tantas atividades que podemos encontrar dentro de um livro destes.
It's a book full of papers, cute and mysterious pictures, it's almost like a toy because there are so many activities inside.
Eu gosto da data, sou suspeita pra falar, e quando começo a fazer estes livros acho que tudo muda aqui no estúdio....estranhamente as coisas começam a sumir e a aparecer em outros lugares, como se fosse mágica ou como se gnomos, duendes, elfos e fadas fizessem aqui do estúdio um parque de diversões.
I like the date, I'm suspicious, and when I start making these books I think everything changes here in the studio....strangely things start disappearing and appearing in other places, as if it were magic or as if gnomes, elves, elves and fairies were turning the studio into an amusement park.
Tempos atrás uma amiga veio me ajudar a fazer alguns livros de Halloween e era um tal de some tesoura, some envelope, some recortes...tudo sumia!
E ela disse: "Tem gente pequena mexendo aqui.....escondendo tudo.....ai, ai, ai...!"
E foi assim que imaginei (ou descobri) que nesta época mágica esses seres vem aqui pro estúdio me "ajudar" a fazer esses livros 😅
Some time ago a friend came to help me make some Halloween books and there were so many scissors, so many envelopes, so many cut-outs... everything was gone!
And she said: “There are little people messing around here..... hiding everything.....ai, ai, ai...!”
And that's how I imagined (or discovered) that in this magical time these beings come here to the studio to “help” me make these books 😅
Agora vamos às especificações:
- Este junk mede cerca de 13,5cm de largura x 19cm de comprimento com 4cm de espessura na lombada;
- Pesa cerca de 580 gramas;
- O fechamento é feito com fita de cetim;
Possui:
- Cerca de 82 folhas, ou seja, 164 páginas para você escrever e usar como quiser;
- Páginas coloridas, enfeitadas com caveiras, fantasmas, retratos de bruxas, imagens de Halloween, bolsos, envelopes, carimbos....um mundo maravilhoso de enfeites!
- Botões na lombada;
- Um broche com pingente metálico de morcego, uma teia com aranha e garrafinha, uma imagem de bruxa e um chapeu de bruxa brilhoso na capa frontal;
- Marcador de páginas em fita de cetim, com pingente metálico de teia de aranha e miçangas;
Now to the specifications:
- This junk measures about 13.5cm wide x 19cm long with a 4cm thick spine;
- It weighs around 580 grams;
- It is closed with a satin ribbon;
It has:
- Around 82 sheets, i.e. 164 pages for you to write on and use as you wish;
- Colored pages, decorated with skulls, ghosts, portraits of witches, Halloween images, pockets, envelopes, stamps.... a wonderful world of decorations!
- Buttons on the spine;
- A brooch with a metallic bat pendant, a web with a spider and a bottle, a picture of a witch and a glittery witch's hat on the front cover;
- Satin ribbon bookmark with metallic spider web pendant and beads;
As imagens dentro dele realmente são muito bonitas, chamam a atenção, enfeitam, decoram. Aqui no Rio, aliás no país todo, considero difícil achar lojas físicas com papéis decorativos sobre Halloween. Podemos recorrer á internet, a arquivos digitais, mas pra nós tudo é bem caro por causa do câmbio.
Haja imaginação e criatividade pra fazer Junk Journals num país onde os importados são a preço de ouro...😓
The images inside are really beautiful, they catch the eye, they adorn, they decorate. Here in Rio, and indeed throughout the country, I find it difficult to find physical stores with Halloween decorative paper. We can turn to the internet, to digital files, but everything is very expensive for us because of the exchange rate.
There's a lot of imagination and creativity to make Junk Journals in a country where imports are priced at gold... 😓
É preciso investimento pra fazer um Junk Journal que encante, um investimento em materiais, por isso não temos essa cultura de fazer esse tipo de livro no meu país.
Ainda bem que tenho dupla cidadania, então meu lado europeu acaba cedendo aos preços e comprando materiais, caros ou não, pra fazer estes livros.
It takes investment to make a Junk Journal that delights, an investment in materials, which is why we don't have this culture of making this kind of book in my country.
Thankfully, I have dual citizenship, so my European side ends up giving in to prices and buying materials, expensive or not, to make these books.
