Neste 5º vídeo eu mostro um pouco mais da pintura de um gato, do livro GATOS de Marjorie Sarnat.
Estou usando lápis escolar da Maped, e hoje vou pintar o fundo da ilustração então o vídeo é mais demorado.
Semana que vem, é a vez do gatito!

In this 5th video I show a little more of the painting of a cat, from the book GATOS by Marjorie Sarnat.
I'm using school pencil from Maped, and today I'm going to paint the background of the illustration so the video takes longer.

Sempre escolho alguma área da pintura, preferencialmente de cima pra baixo e da esquerda para a direita, porque sou destra quando pinto, então dessa forma basta colocar uma folha de papel branca sobre a pintura para protege-la da minha própria mão e braço.
I always choose some area of the painting, preferably from top to bottom and from left to right, because I am right-handed when I paint, so that it is enough to put a white sheet of paper on the painting to protect it from my own hand and arm.
A folha de papel também tem outra finalidade: me ajudar a escolher as cores e a fazer mixagens antes de colocar o lápis em definitivo no desenho.
The sheet of paper also has another purpose: to help me choose the colors and make mixes before putting the pencil on the drawing.
Sempre que escolho as pequenas partes que vou pintar, tento realmente pintar o máximo possível e finalizar a parte escolhida, isso porque a mão "muda".
Whenever I choose the small parts that I will paint, I really try to paint as much as possible and finish the chosen part, because the hand "changes".
Quando eu pintava quadros a óleo ou acrílico, observava que no dia seguinte as pinceladas eram diferentes das do dia anterior, é um fato!
Então dependendo de nosso estado emocional nossa mão pode mudar e afetar nossa pintura.
When I painted pictures in oil or acrylic, I observed that the next day the brushstrokes were different from those of the previous day, it is a fact!
So depending on our emotional state our hand can change and affect our painting.
Na pintura com lápis de cor isso também pode acontecer: nossa percepção de cores pode estar alterada de um dia pro outro, nossa mão pode estar mais leve ou mais pesada....por isso acho importante finalizar cada área escolhida.
In painting with colored pencils this can also happen: our perception of colors can change from one day to the next, our hand can be lighter or heavier .... so I think it is important to finish each chosen area.
Este é o penúltimo vídeo então quero finalizar a pintura em volta de todo o desenho, deixando apenas o gato para o último vídeo.
This is the penultimate video so I want to finish painting around the whole drawing, leaving only the cat for the last video.
Sempre que tenho dúvidas na escolha de cores uso o meu Disco Cromático pra me ajudar a escolher melhor.
Este é um desenho com muito detalhes então o uso de muitas cores e tons é normal, mas nos momentos de dúvida a ajuda do Disco é fundamental.
Whenever I have doubts when choosing colors I use my Chromatic Disc to help me choose better.
This is a very detailed design so the use of many colors and tones is normal, but in times of doubt the help of the Disc is essential.
Com certeza a melhor forma de ver essa pintura é em vídeo, não é?
