Tour 2018 - Avisos, loja, blabla (Warnings, store and so one) - VIDEO

Olá!



As férias do estúdio terminaram e agora é......arte, arte, arte e vamos em frente!



O último vídeo de Tour que fiz do estúdio foi em 2016, em 2017 não fiz porque praticamente não houve grande modificação física nele.

Mas, para 2018 mudei algumas coisas de lugar pra facilitar a filmagem de vídeos do YouTube e tomei algumas decisões, vamos ver?



Quem acompanha o estúdio provavelmente percebeu que em 2017 quase não fiz lançamentos de livros novos, na verdade lancei apenas Sketchbooks para artistas quase no fim do ano.



Dois motivos me fizeram andar mais devagar:  são muitos anos fazendo sempre os mesmos movimentos de encadernação e com isso adquiri uma leve LER (Lesão do Esforço Repetitivo) nos pulsos e um problema nos ombros, e  alguns outros problemas de saúde também relacionados a pessoas da família. Ou seja, precisei de tempo para cuidar disso tudo, e tempo é a palavra chave pra todo o trabalho e lazer que temos.



Não há como ter tempo de fazer tudo que queremos ou que devemos, a gente tenta, mas em algum momento nos vemos obrigados a continuar mas mais devagar, ou a parar mesmo, a escolher alguma coisa e deixar de faze-la.

Eu sempre penso no Estúdio Brigit como se ele estivesse apoiado num tripé, e esse tripé é: Blog, YouTube e loja. No ano passado foi muito difícil manter esse tripé.



O Blog é a base de tudo, tudo que o estúdio já fez e produziu está registrado aqui através de postagens, além de posts de viagens. É uma fonte de consulta pra quem quiser ou precisar.

Posso escrever posts em qualquer lugar do mundo, onde eu estiver, e deixar esses posts programados para as datas que eu quiser, então consigo deixar o blog sempre atualizado.



O YouTube é como se fosse o par perfeito do blog. Todo vídeo no YouTube tem um post correspondente aqui no blog e é no YouTube que consigo ter um contato direto com os seguidores do Estúdio Brigit, mostrar minha arte, mostrar tutoriais, diy, e outros assuntos tanto referentes a arte quanto a artesanato, viagens, curiosidades.......O YouTube é muito importante.

Posso fazer vídeos onde eu quiser, em qualquer lugar do mundo, edita-los num laptop, e coloca-los no YouTube também com publicação programada.



E por fim, a loja. Fazer livros. Pois é.

Pra fazer livros preciso sempre sair para comprar material, trazer para o estúdio, fazer tudo desde a preparação do material até a produção final de cada livro. Fotografar cada livro, escrever uma descrição e colocar na loja. Quando alguém compra um livro eu tenho que estar no Rio pois  é preciso prepara-lo, fazer o pacote "mágico e lindo" do estúdio, ir até o Correio.  Preciso estar dentro do estúdio pra fazer tudo isso e não há como carregar o estúdio para qualquer lugar do mundo para fazer os livros.



Encadernação Artesanal é um trabalho que prende a pessoa ao lugar, demorado, minucioso, e precisa ser um trabalho contínuo, diário, exige paciência, dedicação......e TEMPO.



Desse tripé acima, o que realmente poderia tirar seria a loja; desativar a loja por algum tempo e quando pudesse, ativa-la novamente.

Mas dói. Dói ter que fazer isso. Doeu quando comentei esse assunto com alguns seguidores e pessoas amigas, que se espantaram com minha decisão apesar de entenderem minha situação.



Passei Janeiro e Fevereiro "moendo" tristeza, tentando achar uma forma de continuar com a loja mas ter tempo pra cuidar de mim e das pessoas que estão á minha volta.....



E há poucos dias atrás me veio essa ideia: de continuar com a loja mas reduzir a variedade de livros, limitar a variedade, ou seja, me dedicar a fazer apenas Sketchbooks para artistas e Livros das Sombras/Medievais. Essa ideia foi amadurecendo, e clareou minha mente, me deu esperanças de continuar.

  Vou fazer a experiência e tentar: se der certo, ótimo, caso contrário fecho a loja e tento abri-la mais á frente.



Pretendo abrir a loja ainda nesta semana ou no máximo semana que vem e colocarei alguns livros em promoção. Essa promoção será por tempo limitado, e após esse tempo se sobrarem livros, eles serão retirados da loja.

Quero deixar na loja apenas o que realmente vou fazer: Sketchbooks, Livros das Sombras e por enquanto também deixarei alguns Journals porque tenho muito material no estúdio e preciso usa-lo, então mesmo que eu tenha que fazer alguns livros apenas pra gastar o material, farei.



Neste ano o Estúdio Brigit completa 10 anos de vida, fazendo Arte, mostrando como fazer mas com certeza aprendendo muito mais observando a Arte das pessoas, então, vamos em frente!

The studio vacation is over and now it is time ...... art, art, art and let's go!



The last Tour video I did showing the studio was in 2016, in 2017 I did not do it because there was practically no major physical modification in it.



But for 2018 I moved some things around to make it easier to shoot YouTube videos and I made some decisions, let's see!



Whoever accompanies the studio probably noticed that in 2017 I almost did not make new book releases, in fact I only released Sketchbooks for artists almost at the end of the year.



Two reasons slowed me down: many years of doing the same binding movements, and I got a slight LER (Repetitive Strain Injury) on the wrists and a shoulder problem, and some other health problems also related to people in my family. That is, I needed time to take care of it all, and time is the key word for all the work and leisure we have.



There is no way to have time to do everything we want or what we owe, we try, but at some point we are forced to go slower or stop, to choose something and not to do it.



I always think of Estúdio Brigit as if it were supported on a tripod, and this tripod is: Blog, YouTube and Store. Last year it was very difficult to maintain this tripod.



The Blog is the basis of everything, everything the studio has done and produced is registered here through posts, as well as travel posts. It is a source of consultation for anyone who wants or need.



I can write posts anywhere in the world, wherever I am, and leave those posts scheduled for the dates I want, so I can always keep the blog updated.



YouTube is like the perfect match on the blog. All videos on YouTube has a corresponding post here on the blog and it is on YouTube that I can have direct contact with the Estúdio Brigit's followers, show my art, show tutorials, diy, and other subjects related to art, crafts, travel, curiosities ....... YouTube is very important.



I can make videos wherever I want, anywhere in the world, edit them on a laptop, and upload them to YouTube with a scheduled release.



And finally, the store. Making books. Yeah.



To make books I always have to go out to buy material, bring it to the studio, do everything from the preparation of the material to the final production of each book. Photograph each book, write a description and put it in the store. When someone buys a book I have to be in Rio because it is necessary to prepare it, to make the "magic and beautiful" package of the studio, to go to the Post Office. I need to be in the studio to do all of this and there's no way I can carry the studio anywhere in the world to make the books.



Handmade Binding is a job that holds the person to the place, time-consuming, meticulous, and needs to be a continuous, daily work, demands patience, dedication ... and TIME.



From that tripod above, what I could really take out would be the store; disable the store for some time and  turn it on again when possible.



But it hurts. It hurts having to do this. It hurt when I commented on this subject with some followers and friendly people, who were shocked at my decision despite understanding my situation.



I spent January and February "grinding" sadness, trying to find a way to continue with the store but also having time to take care of me and of the people that are around me .....



And a few days ago I got this idea: to continue with the store but to reduce the variety of books, limit the variety, that is, to dedicate myself on making only Sketchbooks for artists and Books of Shadows / Medieval. This idea was maturing, and cleared my mind, gave me hope to continue.



  I'll do the experiment and try: if it works, fine, otherwise I will close the store and try to open it further.



I intend to open the store later this week or next week and I will put some books on promotion. This promotion will be for a limited time, and after that time if there are books left, they will be removed from the store.



I want to leave the store with just what I'm really going to make: Sketchbooks, Books of Shadows and for now I'll also make some Journals because I have a lot of material in the studio and I need to use it, so even though I have to make some books just to spend the material, I will do.



This year Estúdio Brigit completes 10 years of life, doing Art, showing how to do it but for sure learning a lot more by watching the Art of the people, so let's go!
