Preparando estojos de aquarela/guache antes de usar (Preparing watercolor/gouache boxes before using) - VIDEO

Olá!



Estojos de Aquarela e Guache são ótimos mas precisam ser preparados pra receber as tintas, você sabia? Tanto faz serem de plástico quanto de metal.



Isso porque as tintas escorregam demais, dificultando o trabalho, então podemos suavizar um pouco esse problema, e com o uso do estojo o problema desaparece.



Eu faço assim: salpico um pouco de bicarbonato de sódio em toda a parte do estojo que usamos pra misturar as tintas, normalmente é na parte branca dos estojos de metal, e nos estojos de plástico como normalmente são brancos por dentro e por fora, colocamos o bicarbonato no local de mistura das tintas que em quase todos os casos é a parte de dentro da tampa.



Adiciono gotas de água ou uso meu spray com água apenas pra umedecer ligeiramente e depois com as pontas dos dedos esfrego suavemente o bicarbonato por toda a superfície. Lavo o estojo e seco muito bem e está pronto pra ser usado!

Watercolor and Gouache boxes are great but need to be prepared to receive the paints, did you know? No matter if they are made of plastic or metal.

This is because the paints slip too much, making it difficult to work, so we can soften this problem a bit, and with the continuous use of the box the problem disappears.

I do this: I sprinkle some baking soda on every part of the box we use to mix the paints, it's usually in the white part of the metal boxes, and in the plastic boxes as they are usually white inside and out, we put the bicarbonate in the mixing area  which in almost all boxes is the inside part of the lid.

I add drops of water or use my spray with water only to slightly moisten the bicarbonate  and then with the tips of my fingers gently rub the paste all over the surface. I wash the box, dry it very well and it's ready to be used!
