É um livro onde todas as ilustrações, em todas as páginas, possuem gatos como tema principal.

Para essa pintura vou usar uma caixa com 36 de Lápis de Cor COLOR'PEPS da marca MAPED, nível escolar.
Gosto de usar lápis escolares porque nem todos podem investir em lápis profissionais, e também para mostrar que quando se tem algum conhecimento de técnicas básicas é possível ter um bom resultado com lápis mais baratos.
For this painting I am using a box of 36 COLOR'PEPS Colored Pencils by MAPED, school level.
I like to use school pencils because not everyone can invest in professional pencils, and also to show that when you have some knowledge of the basic techniques it is possible to have a good result with cheaper pencils.
Algumas pessoas gostam que eu indique ou escreva o vídeo, enquanto faço a pintura, as cores dos lápis que estou usando mas acredito que mais importante do que saber o nome exato da cor é entender como estou pintando, observar como seguro o lápis cada vez que mudo de posição......os nomes exatos das cores não são tão importantes, porque nem todos tem essa mesma caixa de lápis de cor e as marcas mudam alguns nomes então cada caixa, de cada arca, pode ter nomes completamente diferentes.
Nomes básicos como vermelho, amarelo, verde, azul, preto.....constam em todas as caixas de todas as marcas mas muitos outros nomes de cores dependem das marcas, por exemplo, a MAPED que estou usando possui um lápis cuja cor é Jungle Green.
Pode ser que essa mesma cor sendo de outra marca tenha outro nome!
Some people like me to indicate or write the video, while I do the painting, the colors of the pencils I am using but I believe that more important than knowing the exact name of the color is to understand how I am painting, to observe how I hold the pencil each time I change my position ...... the exact names of the colors are not so important, because not everyone has the same box of colored pencils and the brands change some names so each box, of each brand, can have completely different names.
Basic names like red, yellow, green, blue, black ..... appear in all the boxes of all brands but many other color names depend on the brands, for example, the MAPED I am using has a pencil named Jungle Green.
It may be that the same color being from another brand has another name!
Então, muito mais importante do que se "prender" a nomes de cores é entender a técnica, e para o caso das pessoas que possuem esse livro quererem pintar junto comigo minha sugestão é que usem os lápis que mais se aproximarem das cores que estou usando no vídeo, mesmo que sejam lápis de outras marcas.
So, much more important than "attaching" to color names is to understand the technique, and in case the people who own this book want to paint with me, my suggestion is to use the pencils that most closely match the colors I'm using in the video, even if they are pencils from other brands.
Além da caixa de lápis de cor também tenho um pincel grande, de maquiagem mesmo, pra limpar a pintura em vez de limpa-la com as mãos.
Tenho um alongador de lápis porque meu lápis vermelho está quase acabando e preciso do alongador.
Também tenho uma borracha maleável, um lápis Blender da Caran d'Ache, um apontador e 2 esfuminhos, um pedaço de acetato que coloco por baixo da página e um pedaço de papel comum para evitar apoiar minha mão diretamente na pintura.
Gosto de começar pela parte esquerda de cima do desenho e ir descendo até chegar ao lado oposto: a parte direita de baixo.
Então, vamos pintar?!
In addition to the box of colored pencils, I also have a large brush, for makeup, to clean the painting instead of cleaning it with my hands.
I have a pencil stretcher because my red pencil is almost out and I need the stretcher.
I also have a malleable eraser, a Blender pencil from Caran d'Ache, a sharpener and 2 smears, a piece of acetate that I put under the page and a piece of plain paper to avoid supporting my hand directly on the painting.
I like to start at the top left part of the drawing and work my way down until I reach the opposite side: the right bottom part.
So, let's go painting!
