A Viagem (21): Londres (London - The Trip)

Olá!

Com um apartamento alugado em South Kensington é bem perto pra ir a pé até o Royal Albert Hall for Arts and Sciences aberto em 1871 pela Rainha Victoria,  que na verdade é uma homenagem que ela fez ao marido, o Principe Albert.

O teatro é magnífico e vale uma visita! Lá dentro há guias que contam toda a história desse belo prédio e sua relação com o casal real, mas infelizmente não é permitido tirar fotos.

With a rented flat in South Kensington is close to walk to the Royal Albert Hall for Arts and Sciences opened in 1871 by Queen Victoria, which is actually a tribute to her husband, Prince Albert.

The theater is beautiful and worth a visit! Inside there are guides that tell the whole story of this beautiful building and its relationship with the royal couple, but unfortunately it is not allowed to take pictures.

Na frente do Royal Albert Hall, e portanto dentro do Hyde Park  está o Albert Memorial que como o nome diz, é mais uma homenagem que a Rainha Victoria fez ao Principe Albert que morreu de tifóide em 1861. 

Esse monumento é em estilo gótico, aberto em 1872 pela rainha, e tem uma estátua do Albert sentado no trono.

Sinceramente, todos os monumentos que vi em Londres eram bem cuidados, os metais amarelos estavam polidos, a pintura bem cuidada também.

Eu gostaria muito de ver isto em meu país....

In front of the Royal Albert Hall, and therefore within the Hyde Park is the Albert Memorial which as the name says, is a tribute by Queen Victoria to ​​Prince Albert who died of typhoid in 1861.

This monument is in the Gothic style, opened by the Queen in 1872, and has a statue of Albert on the throne.

Honestly, all the monuments I've seen in London were well maintained, the yellow metals were polished, manicured painting too.

I would love to see this in my country ....

Como o Albert Memorial fica dentro do Hyde Park, é aproveitar pra ficar bem perto da Natureza!



Eu só tinha visto esquilos em programas de televisão e fiquei apaixonada por esse animais! Eles são rápidos, curiosos, trabalham muito para juntar comida e armazenar para o inverno rigoroso do Reino Unido...



As the Albert Memorial is in Hyde Park, let's take the opportunity  to be very close to Nature!





I had only seen squirrels on television and easily fell in love with this animals! They are quick, curious and work hard to gather and store food for the harsh winter in the UK ...

...estão sempre à procura de castanhas e o parque está cheio de castanheiros; eles pegam as castanhas e enterram no solo, assim, no inverno eles tem comida suficiente para se alimentar.

.. they are always looking for chestnuts and the park is full of chestnut trees, they take the nuts and bury in the ground, so in the winter they have enough food to feed.

Nas visitas eu levava avelãs e nozes compradas num mercado ali perto e por isso consegui tirar fotos assim tão de perto!

Alguns eram tímidos e medrosos para chegar perto e pegar as nozes e avelãs, mas outros eram bem desinibidos e pegavam da minha mão, até subiram em mim, se agarrando em meus jeans!

During the visits I took hazelnuts and walnuts bought in a market nearby and so it was easy to take pictures so close!

Some were shy and afraid to get close and pick walnuts and hazelnuts, but others were quite uninhibited and caught the fruits off my hand, rose up in me, clinging onto my jeans!

Tornou-se comum encontrar nozes, avelãs e amêndoas nos bolsos dos meus casacos porque sempre que passava em frente ao parque eu entrava e jogava comida pra eles; a entrada do parque é gratuita e como o parque é enorme, tem  várias entradas, e uma delas era em frente de casa.



Amei ver esses bichinhos de perto, me apaixonei por eles!

It has become common to find walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds in the pockets of my coats because whenever I passed in front of the park I used to play some food for them, the park entrance is free and as it is huge has several entrances, one of them was in front of the flat.



Loved seeing these little cute so closely, fell in love with them!
