A Viagem (144): Uma rápida visita a Portobello (The Trip: A quick visit to Portobello)

Olá, dia de praia!



Pra isso temos que sair um pouco do centro de Edimburgo e pegar a estrada até Portobello West, que está vazia por causa do tempo frio. Aqui a areia é diferente, é quase uma terra, ao contrário das areias da maior parte das praias no Brasil, que são areia mesmo e quase sempre brancas. É estranho pra nós ver uma "areia" assim, mas o lugar é bonito.

Hi, beach day!

For this we have to leave out the center of Edinburgh and take the road until Portobello West, that is empty because of the cold weather. Here the sand is different, it is almost a land, unlike the sands of most beaches in Brazil, which in fact are sand and almost always white. It's strange for us to see a "sand" like that, but the place is beautiful.

Não consegui ficar muito tempo na cidade porque o frio era muito, mas pelo que pude perceber, é uma lugar pequeno e sossegado com infraestrutura suficiente para abrigar uma pequena população. Posso estar enganada, mas foi a impressão que tive.

I could not stay for long in the city because it was very cold, but from what I could say, it is a small, quiet place with enough infrastructure to house a small population. I may be mistaken, but it was the impression I had.

A volta pra casa é rápida, mas mesmo assim ainda pude me encantar com o caminho.

Semana que vem tem mais!

The return home is fast, but yet I could still love the way.
