Como em todo Reino Unido,  há sempre uma enorme quantidade de pubs com suas características marcantes, é só olhar para os lados para encontrar um, como este da foto acima, o The Arrows.

As throughout the UK, there is always a huge amount of pubs with its striking features, just look around to find one like this on photo above, The Arrows.

Parece incrível mas até os anos 70 não era permitida a entrada de mulheres nos pubs, até que um americano que estudava na Universidade de Glasgow conseguiu mudar isso.  O pub Tennents foi o primeiro a aceitar clientes femininas, acabando com o tabu.

It seems incredible but until the 70s it was not allowed for women to enter in pubs, until an American who studied at the University of Glasgow managed to change it.  The pub Tennents was the first one  to accept female customers, ending the taboo.

A comida é ótima e eles tem vários tipos de cerveja á venda, difícil escolher!

The food is great and they have various types of beer for sale, hard to choose!
