Olá!

Chegamos na cidade de Glasgow, a maior cidade da Escócia que começou com um povoado na Idade Média, no século VI, e cresceu bastante após o estabelecimento da Universidade de Glasgow tornando-se séculos depois a principal cidade de comércio transatlântico com as Américas.

A Revolução Industrial contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de engenharias  e de construção naval.

We have arrived in the city of Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland that began with a town in the Middle Ages in the sixth century, and grew after the establishment of the University of Glasgow becoming centuries after the main city of transatlantic trade with the Americas.

The Industrial Revolution contributed to the development of engineering and shipbuilding.

Glasgow ficou conhecida como a segunda cidade do Império Britânico na época vitoriana também. 

Glasgow was known as the second city of the British Empire in Victorian times as well.

De fato, a cidade aparenta ser bem antiga com suas construções e igrejas.

In fact, the city appears to be very old with its buildings and churches.

Mas com a presença de muito verde!
