A Viagem (57): Windsor (The Trip: Windsor)

Olá, hoje é quinta, dia de viagem e ainda estamos na cidade de Windsor, no castelo de Windsor que é uma das residências oficiais da Realeza Britânica.

Hello, today is Thursday, day trip and we're still in the city of Windsor, at Windsor Castle which is one of the official residences of the British Royalty.

 Os canhões antigos ainda estão no mesmo lugar e dá para termos uma ideia de como eram as guerras.....pesadas! Só uma bola de um canhão desses já cansa de carregar.

The old cannons are still there and we can get an idea of how heavy were the wars .....! Carrying just one  ball from a cannon can make a person feel tired forever.

A construção do castelo começou por essa torre redonda, então, a partir dela foram sendo construídas todas as alas e assim o castelo foi crescendo até chegar ao que é hoje.

The construction of the castle began with this round tower, then from it all wards were being built until the castle grew to  what it is today.

Em cada parte da construção vemos partes de diferentes momentos na História da Inglaterra, tudo isso de forma harmoniosa e refletido nos detalhes das construções como as janelas da foto acima.

In each part of the building we see parts of different moments in the history of England, all smoothly and reflected in the details of construction as the windows of the photo above.
