Olá!

Outro dia estava fazendo umas aquarelas e pensando....e se eu fizesse um livro todo branco com papel próprio onde eu pudesse desenhar e também colorir minhas aquarelas?

Então peguei papel Rives, 250g/m², dobrei, costurei e fiz estes sketchbooks!

The other day I was doing some watercolors and thinking .... what if I made a whole book with white paper itself where I could draw and also coloring my watercolors?

So I took Rives paper, 250g / m², folded, sewed and made ​​these sketchbooks!

Cada livro tem 30 folhas de papel Rives, cortadas à mão e optei pela costura Copta que permite uma ampla abertura das páginas.

Each book has 30 sheets of Rives, hand-cut, and I've chosen Coptic stitching that allows a wide opening pages.

Primeiro fiz a costura com linha branca mas achei que ficou tudo branco demais, por isso fiz os outros com linha preta que combina com qualquer desenho e cor.

First I did the stitching with white thread but it was all too white, so I did the others with black thread that matches any design and color.

Os livros são completamente brancos, até a contra capa!

A gramatura de 250g/m² dá ao papel uma ótima resistência!

The weight of 250g/m² gives the paper a great strength!

Os sketchbooks medem 25cm x 20cm com espessura de 2,5cm e pesam cerca de 600 gramas.

Aí comecei meus desenhos, minhas pinturas e minhas aquarelas.......e alguém me perguntou: "Mas você vai vender o livro assim, todo branco? Sem nada, nenhum desenho ou pintura, nada?"

Bom, a ideia é essa mesma; que cada um desenhe e/ou pinte o que quiser, inclusive nas capas!

As opiniões se dividiram: tem gente que achou a ideia ótima de um livro todo branco, e tem gente que disse que eu deveria pintar alguma coisa ao menos na capa!

Then I've started my drawings, my paintings and my watercolors ....... and someone asked me: "But are you going to sell the books all white? With nothing, no drawing or painting, anything?"

Well, this is the idea: that people draw or paint whatever they want, even on the covers!

Opinions were divided: some people have found a great idea of buying an all white book, and there were people who said I should paint something at least on the cover!

Sabe aquele "branco" que ás vezes dá quando a gente pega uma folha de papel toda branca e não sabe o que vai escrever ou a desenhar? Muita gente tem isso!

You know that lack of ideas that sometimes occurs when we pick up a sheet of white paper and do not know what to write or draw? Lots of people have it!

Então resolvi o problema assim: vou por os sketchbooks à venda dos dois jeitos: com uma pintura floral na capa e com a capa toda branca também, assim cada um escolhe o que preferir!

So I solved the problem this way: the sketchbooks will be sold in two ways: with a floral painting on the cover and also with the cover all white, so each person chooses what they prefer!
