Álbum de Cartas (Album of Letters)

Do you remember the Envelope Book I made before? (If you have not seen, click here to see.)



Agora fiz um Álbum de Cartas que quando fechado tem a  forma de envelope e as páginas também são envelopes!



Serve para dar de presente de aniversário, de Natal, ou para homenagear alguém que gostamos.



Now I've made an album of letters that when closed has the shape of an envelope and its pages are also envelopes!



Can be given as a birthday gift, Christmas, or to honor someone we care.



A ideia é reunir família e amigos da pessoa que será homenageada e cada um escreve uma frase, um parágrafo ou algumas linhas contando um fato engraçado que tenha acontecido entre a pessoa que escreve e o homenageado!



The idea is to gather family and friends of the person who will be honored and each of them write a sentence, a paragraph or a few lines telling a funny story that has happened between the person who writes and the honored one!



Cada pessoa coloca sua mensagem dentro de um envelope e por fora  escreve seu próprio nome.

Quando os envelopes estiverem completos, é só escrever o nome do homenageado na parte da frente do álbum e dar o presente!



Each person puts the message in an envelope and writes their own name outside of the envelope.

When the envelopes are complete with messages, just write the name of the honoree at the front of the album and give the gift!



Este Álbum de Cartas foi feito para o mesmo aniversariante que ganhou o Livro de Visitas Halloween, que mostrei anteriormente.



Assim fechado ele mede 17cm x 13cm,  com 1,8cm de espessura e 200 gramas de peso. 



This Album of Letters was made  for the same boy to whom I made  the Halloween  Guestbook  I showed before.

Once closed it measures 17cm x 13cm, with 1.8 cm thick and 200 grams of weight.

Na parte de trás escreve-se o "remetente" dos envelopes, neste caso, família e amigos.

On the back is written the "sender" , in this case, family and friends.

Na parte da frente, escreve-se o nome do homenageado.

At the front, goes the name of the honoree.

Quando abrimos o álbum podemos ver que as folhas são os próprios envelopes onde ficarão as cartas.

When we open this album we can see that the leaves are the envelopes with the letters.

Esta é a parte frontal interna do álbum, onde começam os envelopes.

This is the inside front of the album, where  the envelope pages begin.

Mas é na frente do envelope que quem manda a carta escreve o próprio nome.

But the one who writes the letter puts the own name on the front of the envelope.

Neste álbum coloquei 18 envelopes, que é a idade do aniversariante, mas o álbum pode ser feito com mais envelopes.

On this album I put 18 envelopes, which is the age of the boy, but the album can have  more envelopes.

Todos os envelopes tem um selinho.

All of them have a little stamp.

Esta é a parte de trás do álbum.

O fechamento é feito com ilhós e uma linha encerada com algumas miçangas de madeira na ponta.

The closure is made with eyelets and a polished line with some wooden beads at the tip.

Fechado ele realmente parece um envelope!

It really looks like a closed envelope!
