A Viagem (148): Indo para o Lago Ness (The Trip: Going to Loch Ness)

Hoje tenho algo diferente pra escrever neste post de viagem, na verdade quero contar uma ideia que tive com base nas conversas e mensagens que tenho recebido.

Pra quem é artista de desenho e pintura qualquer viagem, por mais perto que seja, é sempre uma oportunidade pra levar material de arte, escolher uma paisagem, um objeto, um lugar e registrar tudo num sketchbook, companheiro permanente do artista.

Today I have something different to write in this travel post, in fact I want to tell you an idea that I had based on the conversations and messages I have received.

For anyone who is a drawing and painting artist, any trip, however close, is always an opportunity to pick up the art material, choose a landscape, an object, a place and record everything in a sketchbook, the artist's permanent companion.

Mas, no meu caso, nem sempre consigo sentar por 2, 3 horas e ficar apenas desenhando e pintando porque não viajo sozinha, viajo em família e com amigos, e reconheço que enquanto pra mim é uma diversão e prazer, pra eles pode ser cansativo ficar muito tempo em um lugar esperando que eu termine minha arte.  Por esse motivo boa parte das vezes ou faço um desenho simples, fotografo o local e pinto quando chego no hotel ou em casa, ou simplesmente fotografo tudo e faço o desenho e a pintura no hotel ou em casa.

But in my case, I can not always sit for 2, 3 hours and just draw and paint because I do not travel alone, I travel with family and friends, and I recognize that while it's fun for me, it can be tiring for them to spend a lot of time in a place waiting for me to finish my art. For this reason I often do a simple drawing, photograph the place and paint it when I arrive at the hotel or at home, or simply photograph everything and do the drawing and painting at the hotel or at home.

No post de hoje vocês estão vendo o famoso Lago Ness, ou Loch Ness,  na Escócia, onde dizem existir um animal, um tipo de dinossauro aquático, que vive naquelas águas há muitos anos mas que nunca foi eficazmente fotografado. Todos do lugar mantém a afirmação de que ele, ou melhor, ela, chamada carinhosamente de Nessie, existe! Eu também acho que ela existe, eu acredito!

In today's post you are seeing the famous Loch Ness in Scotland, where they say there is an animal, a kind of aquatic dinosaur that has lived in those waters for many years but has never been photographed effectively. Everyone in the place maintains the statement that he, or rather, she, affectionately called Nessie, exists! I also think she exists, I believe!

Não fiz desenhos sobre esse lugar, mas minhas vontade é mostrar junto com os posts de viagem alguns desenhos e pinturas do post do dia, acho que isso pode motivar vocês a fazerem o mesmo: a desenhar e pintar lugares, coisas, objetos, animais....e nem precisa ser numa viagem, pode ser no dia a dia.

I did not make drawings about this place, but my desire is to show along with the travel posts some drawings and paintings from the post of the day, I think this can motivate you to do the same: to draw and paint places, things, objects, animals. ... and it does not even have to be a trip, it can be a day by day routine.

Então, pode ser que nos próximos posts de viagem eu coloque essa ideia no papel, ou seja, aqui no blog!
