Apesar de ser uma cidade muito antiga, Glasgow também tem construções modernas um pouco afastadas do centro como o prédio da BBC e este abaixo, mas gosto de ver coisas antigas, por isso fui lá.

Despite being a very old city, Glasgow also has modern buildings a bit away from the center as the BBC building and this one below, but I like to see old things, so I went there.

As fontes também são uma atração nas cidades do Reino Unido, são antigas, funcionam e dão um ar romântico ao lugar.

Esta é a Doulton Fountain, em estilo renascentista francês, foi feita para comemorar o Jubileu de Ouro da Rainha em 1887.

The fountains are also an attraction in the UK cities, they are old and give a romantic air to the place.

This  is the Doulton Fountain  in French Renaissance style and  was designed to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 1887.

Existe um cruzamento de 5 ruas chamado Glasgow Cross e bem no meio fica o Tolbooth Tower, uma torre com um relógio que emite som a cada hora cheia, pertencia ao prédio da antiga prefeitura da cidade, ela foi destruída por um incêndio e sobrou apenas essa torre.

There is an intersection of five streets named Glasgow Cross and in the middle is the Tolbooth Tower, a tower with a clock that beeps every full hour, which belonged to the building of the former town hall, it was destroyed by a fire and left only this tower.
