A Viagem (4): Versailles- Le Palais du Soleil (The Trip)

Olá! 

Agora que o Carnaval passou e que o ano praticamente começa, vamos voltar às postagens das quintas-feiras que mostram lugares bonitos da França, Inglaterra e Escócia.

No post passado mostrei o Palácio do Sol em Versailles e hoje vou continuar no Palácio porque ele é tão grande e tão lindo que merece vários posts!

Os jardins são bem cuidados, e as flores foram plantadas de acordo com as cores para formar desenhos.

Now that Carnival is over and the year practically begins, let's go back to our Thursdays' posts showing beautiful places of France, England and Scotland.

In the last post I showed the Palace of The Sun in Versailles and today I continue showing the  Palace because it is so big and so beautiful that it deserves multiple posts!

The gardens are well maintained, and the flowers were planted according to the colors to form designs.

Os salões são exuberantes, olhem esse teto! Tudo restaurado e preservado. São mais de 700 cômodos, mais de mil lareiras e em média 8,5 milhões de  visitantes todos os anos.



The halls are lush look, look at that roof! Everything restored and preserved. There are more than 700 rooms, more than a thousand fireplaces and an average of 8.5 million visitors every year.

 

É tanta coisa bonita pra ver que a gente não sabe para onde olhar primeiro: Os móveis, as paredes, as pinturas, as portas, o teto e até o chão!

There are so many beautiful things to see  that we do not know where to look first: The furniture, the walls, the paintings, the doors, the roof and the floor!

Esta foto tirei de dentro do Palácio, em uma das mais de 2 mil janelas, mostra a parte de trás do Palácio e a imensidão do lugar.



This photo was taken from inside the palace, in one of more than 2000 windows, it shows the back of the Palace and the immensity of the place.

Aqui é o Salão dos Espelhos que é absolutamente lindo e os espelhos refletem os jardins do lado de fora.



Here is the Hall of Mirrors that is absolutely beautiful and the mirrors reflect the outside gardens.

Em algumas salas haviam esculturas modernas como esta vermelha, que pareciam corações entrelaçados.



In some rooms there were modern sculptures such as this red one that seemed entwined hearts.

Este era o quarto de Luis XIV, o Rei Sol, e era ainda mais dourado que todos os outros aposentos.

 Achei a cama pequena mas parece que naquela época as pessoas tinham uma estatura menor, de qualquer forma, a cama estava virada para o Sol que deveria iluminar todo o aposento do Rei.



This was the room of Louis XIV, the Sun King, and was even more golden than all the other rooms. I thought the bed is too small but it seems that at that time people had a smaller stature, anyway, the bed was facing the sun that should brighten the entire room of the King.

Ainda tenho mais postagens sobre Versailles, passei umas 4 ou 5 horas nessa visita, não queria ir embora do Palácio.
