Steve Jobs - RIP

Olá!

Não poderia deixar de comentar com vocês e também de prestar minha homenagem ao gênio Steve Jobs, fundador da Apple, que apesar dos obstáculos que enfrentou ao longo da vida - incluindo a rejeição sofrida dos pais biológicos - seguiu em frente, não desistiu, e revolucionou definitivamente o universo da informática.

Há mais de 30 anos atrás em uma garagem, junto com um amigo, construiu o primeiro computador pessoal. 

Criou o Ipod, o Iphone e o Ipad.

Era autodidata e nunca concluiu uma faculdade.

Em sua vida seguiu sempre enfrentando desafios, perseguindo seus objetivos, lutando contra o medo e contra as limitações e assim,  atingiu o topo.

Em 2005, já doente, Jobs fez uma palestra para uma turma de formandos da Universidade de Stanford e emocionou os alunos com as seguintes palavras:

 “Lembrar-me de que estarei morto em pouco tempo é a mais importante ferramenta que já encontrei para me ajudar a fazer as grandes escolhas da vida. Porque quase tudo - todas as expectativas externas, todo o orgulho, todo o medo de constrangimentos ou de falhar - deixa de ser importante diante da morte, restando apenas aquilo que realmente importa”.

Today I'm here to pay tribute to the genius Steve Jobs, founder of Apple, who despite the obstacles  faced throughout life - including the rejection of his biological parents  - moved on, did not give up, and definitely revolutionized the world of computer.

For over 30 years ago in a garage, along with a friend, he built the first personal computer.

 He created the Ipod, the Iphone and the Ipad.

He was self-taught and never finished college.

In his life he was always facing challenges, pursuing his goals, fighting against the fear and limitations and thus reached the top.

In 2005, already ill, Jobs made a speech to a graduating class of Stanford Universityand that thrilled the students with the following words:  

"To know that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything - all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - is no longer important in the face of death, leaving only what really matters. "
