Halloween Junk Journal #3 - VÍDEO

Este é o terceiro Junk Journal de Halloween, com as mesmas características dos 2 anteriores.



Fazer Junk Journal é uma jornada de aventuras e criatividade. Ás vezes quando acho que uma ideia vai dar certo e tento aplica-la ao junk, dá errado. Outras vezes, ideias simples dão certo e são de grande impacto.



As capas do Junk são um exercício de criatividade porque como fiz apenas 4 junks, e tenho muito material disponível, precisei limitar e reduzir esse material, testar, posicionar figuras, retirar e assim continua e sucessivamente reduzir o material a apenas 4 capas. Já com o miolo do junk é diferente: são 112 folhas pra soltar a criatividade, pra colar, carimbar, recortar, envelhecer...enfim, dá pra fazer tudo. Então quando fui pra etapa de fazer capas me senti "presa" na criatividade porque minha vontade era ter 112 capas pra decorar.

This is the third Halloween Junk Journal, with the same features as the previous 2.

Making Junk Journal is a journey of adventure and creativity. Sometimes when I think an idea will work out and try to apply it to the junk, it goes wrong. In other times, simple ideas work and are of great impact.

The Junk covers are an exercise in creativity because as I only made 4 junks, and I had a lot of material available, I needed to limit and reduce this material, test, position figures, withdraw and thus continuously and successively reduce the material to only 4 covers. Yet with the text block of the junk is different: there are 112 sheets to release the creativity, to paste, to stamp, to cut, to age ... anyway, we can do everything. So when I went to the stage of making covers I felt "stuck" in creativity because I wanted to have 112 covers to decorate.

O que acontece é que criatividade é como um músculo: quanto mais se usa, mais forte fica! E como eu decorei 4 Junk Journals, cada um com 112 folhas, ou seja, decorei 448 folhas com tags, carimbos, papéis, envelopes, cantoneiras, tarjas, bolsos, etc.....quando foi a vez das capas precisei limitar minha criatividade a apenas quatro. As ideias borbulhavam em minha mente, foi muito difícil escolher o material dessas capas.

What happens is that creativity is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it gets! And as I have decorated 4 Junk Journals, each one with 112 sheets, that is, I have decorated 448 sheets with tags, stamps, papers, envelopes, angles, stripes, pockets, etc ..... when it was time to decorate the covers I needed to limit my creativity to just 4 sheets. Ideas bubbled through my mind, it was very hard to choose the material of these covers.

Como eu disse antes, fiz apenas um vídeo com os 4 Junk Journals porque são muito parecidos por dentro, o que difere são as capas então no vídeo mostro apenas um deles por dentro e as capas de todos.

No próximo post mostrarei o quarto e último Junk Journal de 2019.

As I said before, I only did a video with the 4 Junk Journals because they are very similar inside, what differs are the covers so in the video I show only one of them and the covers of all.

Eu fiz apenas um vídeo pra mostrar os 4 Junk Journals porque a diferença entre eles é praticamente a capa; a parte interna, ou seja, as folhas, as tags, os envelopes, bolsos, fitas, rendas, carimbos, etc.....são os mesmos.



Este é um dos 4  Junks Journals que fiz:. O tamanho é o mesmo: cerca de 14cm de base x 19cm de altura com 5cm de espessura na lombada. Pesa aproximadamente 600 gramas e tem 112 folhas (224 páginas) de papel off set envelhecido além de papel Color Plus nas cores laranja, preto e lilás.

I have just made one video to show the 4 Junk Journals because the difference between them is pretty much the cover; the inside, that is, sheets, tags, envelopes, pockets, ribbons, lace, stamps, etc ..... are the same.

This is one of the 4 Junks Journals that I've made. They all have the same size: about 14cm width x 19cm height with 5cm of thickness in the spine. It weighs approximately 600 grams and has 112 sheets (224 pages) of offset aged paper plus Color Plus paper in orange, black and lilac.

Por dentro é uma festa: Bolsos, envelopes, carimbos, caveiras, morcegos, bruxas, corujas, aranhas e teias de aranha, cantoneiras, rendas, fitas, tags, fotos de bruxas, fantasmas, etc...

The text block is a party: Pockets, envelopes, stamps, skulls, bats, witches, owls, spiders and cobwebs, angles, lace, ribbons, tags, photos of witches, ghosts, etc ...

Como eu havia dito no meu último vídeo, neste mês de Outubro eu suspendi as atividades todas (blog, youtube, Facebook) para me dedicar aos Junk Journals de Halloween, e aqui está o primeiro:

Hello, I came back with the Halloween Junks Journals!

As I said in my last video, this October I suspended all activities (blog, youtube, Facebook) to dedicate myself to the Halloween Junk Journals  and here is the first one:

 Consegui fazer 4 Junk Journals que serão mostrados todos juntos em apenas um vídeo porque são muito parecidos por dentro: todos tem as mesmas tags, os mesmos fantasmas, bruxas, árvores, envelopes, carimbos, caveiras, etc...mas a capa de cada um é diferente, então basta mostrar apenas o que um deles contém por isso não há a necessidade de fazer quatro vídeos.

Mas aqui no blog é diferente: como são muitas fotos para colocar em apenas um post, farei 4 posts individuais.

I managed to make 4 Junk Journals that will all be shown together in just one video because they are very similar inside: everyone has the same tags, the same ghosts, witches, trees, envelopes, stamps, skulls, etc ... but the cover of each one is different, so just by showing only what one of them contains there is no need show the others and no need to make four videos.

But here in the blog is different: as there are many photos to put in just one post, I will do 4 individual posts.

Todos medem cerca de 14cm de base x 19cm de altura e 5cm de espessura na lombada, o peso é de aproximadamente 600 gramas, ou seja,  é um tijolinho, mas um tijolinho muito lindo!

All measure about 14cm width x 19cm height and 5cm of thickness in the spine, the weight is of approximately 600 grams, that is to say, it is a little brick, but a cute little brick!

 E agora começa a brincadeira!! Temos figuras de bruxas, gatos pretos, fantasmas, caveiras, corujas, estrelas, aranhas, morcegos, casas assombradas, fotos de bruxas, garrafas, etc.....além de tags, bolsos, cantoneiras e encaixes pra guardar papéis, muitos papéis!

And now the game starts !! We have pictures of witches, black cats, ghosts, skulls, owls, stars, spiders, bats, bottles, haunted houses, etc ..... besides tags, pockets, angles and inserts to save papers, many papers!

Também coloquei miçangas nas linhas que usei para costurar.....

I also put beads on the threads I used to sew .....

..... no pingente, junto com fitas.....

..... in the pendant, along with ribbons .....

......e nas bordas das folhas também coloquei algumas miçangas, ficaram lindas!

...... and on the edges of the sheets I also put some beads, so cute!

STORY JOURNAL - As Férias da Bruxa Onilda (STORY JOURNAL -The Witch Onilda's Holiday) - VÍDEO

Hoje temos outro STORY JOURNAL com a Bruxa Onilda, desta vez mostrando as férias atrapalhadas dessa bruxinha que não entende os dias atuais, na verdade ela é uma bruxinha medieval com seus trajes típicos, sua vassoura, caldeirão......tudo que eu gosto!

Today we have another STORY JOURNAL with Witch Onilda, this time showing the messy holidays of this witch who does not understand the present day, in fact she is a medieval witch in her typical costumes, her broom, cauldron ...... everything I like!

É um super livro que pode ser usado como álbum para colagens inclusive de fotos, pode-se escrever e desenhar nele porque as folhas com gramatura 120 permitem tudo isso.

Também é um livro grande: mede cerca de 18,5 cm de altura x 24 cm de altura e 4,5 cm de espessura, pesa cerca de 900 gramas e tem 112 folhas (224 páginas), 120g / m², em branco, laranja e roxo, incluindo todas as folhas do livro original.

It's a super book that can be used as an album for collages including photos, you can write and draw on it because the sheets weighing 120 allow it all.

Nas páginas encontramos teias com aranhas, casas mal assombradas, morcegos, carimbos com gatos e bruxas, folhas com bordas recortadas e rendadas, cantoneiras para o encaixe de papéis, envelopes, tags, pingentes, fitas....

Fauxdori (Novo!) (New) - VÍDEO

 Aqui estou com os novos Fauxdori do estúdio que tem poucas diferenças em relação aos últimos Fauxdori que lancei tempos atrás: folhas com cantos arredondados e tarjas no fechamento pra evitar que o elástico danifique a capa.

Sim, a diferença é pouca mas havia muita gente na "fila" querendo que eu colocasse esses planejadores na loja e como acho que os anteriores eram ótimos vi que não havia muito o que modificar.

Quem tem esse tipo de planejador não larga mais porque são eternos: a gente compra um completo e depois vai repondo os cadernos á medida em que vão acabando, inclusive as capas internas que faço pra colocar os cadernos também estão á venda na loja.

Here I am with the new Fauxdori that has few differences from the last Fauxdori I launched some time ago: sheets with rounded corners and stripes in the closure to prevent the elastic damage the cover.

Yes, the difference is little but there were many people in the "queue" urging me to put these planners in the store and as I think the previous ones were great I saw that there was not much to modify.

Those who have this type of planner do not change for other kind of book because they are eternal: we buy a complete one and then replace the notebooks as they finish,  the inner covers that I make to put the notebooks are also for sale in the store.

Continuo com os tamanhos grande e médio (passaporte), e com as capas emborrachadas de um lado e com camurça do outro, nas cores bege, vermelho e  preto. 

O emborrachado é super resistente, acho que dura a vida inteira (vou deixar alguns pros meus futuros netos então! 😊)

I still have the big and medium sizes (passport), and the covers are rubberized on one side and suede on the other in beige, red and black colors.

The rubber is super tough, I think it lasts a lifetime (I'll leave some to my future grandchildren though!😊)

São unissex, cada um possui 3 cadernos independentes e removíveis, com 24 folhas (48 páginas),  que podem ser colocados na ordem que você quiser pois estão presos por um sistema de elásticos.


O Fauxdori tamanho Grande mede 14cm de base x 21,5cm de altura, o fechamento é com elástico, possui marcador de página e pesa apenas 250 gramas, então embora seja grande é fácil e leve de carregar.

They are unisex, each one has 3 independent and removable notebooks with 24 sheets (48 pages), which can be placed in the order you want because they are attached by a system of elastics.

A empresa, Midori, atua desde 1950 lançando papéis e envelopes, e o planejador cujo nome é Midori.



Como o que faço não é um Midori original, mas sim uma inspiração no original, uso o nome Fauxdori, ou seja, um Midori falso.

Midori ou Fauxdori, ambos são excelentes e um vício: quem usa não larga.

Story Journal: Rapunzel - VÍDEO

Ontem foi dia de A Bela Adormecida e hoje é dia de Rapunzel, a princesa com os cabelos muito muito compridos!



Os 2 são STORY JOURNALS de princesas e podem ser usados pra desenhar, pintar, fazer colagens, e até colar fotos.

As folhas são coloridas, recortadas, com rendas coladas, adesivos, 2 encartes para pintar a Rapunzel, envelopes...tudo que uma menina sonha!

Yesterday was Sleeping Beauty's day and today is Rapunzel's day, the princess with very very long hair!

The 2 are STORY JOURNALS of princesses and can be used to draw, paint, make collages, and even paste photos.

The sheets are colored, trimmed, with lace, stickers, 2 Rapunzel inserts to paint, envelopes ... everything a girl dreams of!

Faz pouco tempo que comecei a fazer Story/Junk/Vintage Journals e estou apaixonada por eles! Só lamento que, no caso dos Story Journals de princesas, minha filha já seja adulta e não tenha tido oportunidade de ter um desses quando era criança.



Eu guardei vários desenhos, pinturas e colagens dos meus filhos, da época de infância, então tenho umas 2 bolsas lotadas de lembranças mas eu gostaria muito que fossem livros assim como esses.



Por isso, se você tem meninas em casa, ou afilhadas, ou ainda se você quer dar de presente pra uma menina um journal desses, vá rápido na loja do estúdio antes que acabe! Fiz apenas 2 para o momento, depois farei mais.

I just started making Story / Junk / Vintage Journals and I'm in love with them! I only regret that in the case of the Story Journals of princesses, my daughter is already an adult and did not have the opportunity to have one of these as a child.

I kept several drawings, paintings and collages of my children, from childhood, so I have a couple of bags full of memories but I wish they were books like these.

So if you have girls at home, or godchildren, or if you want to give a girl a gift like this, visit the studio' store before it's over! I only made 2 for the moment, later I'll make more.

Story Journal: A Bela Adormecida! (Sleeping Beauty!) - VÍDEO

Olá, hoje é dia de STORY JOURNAL  e desta vez de princesa: A Bela Adormecida!



É uma história linda,  na verdade é a minha preferida porque sou fã da Malévola. Sempre acho que as bruxas são incompreendidas, por que será?



Neste STORY JOURNAL é possível ler a história completa e o livro ficou uma fofura cheio de folhas diferentes, coloridas, rendas, adesivos, pingentes...tudo que uma menina gosta, sim, porque este é um livro bem "menininha".

Hello, today is STORY JOURNAL day and this time of a princess: Sleeping Beauty!

It's a beautiful story, actually it's my favorite because I'm a Maleficent fan. I always think witches are misunderstood, aren't they?

In this STORY JOURNAL it is possible to read the full story and the book is so cute, full of different colored sheets, lace, stickers, pendants ... everything a girl likes, yes, because this is a very "little girl" book.

Mas o que fazer com um livro assim? Pode-se colar fotos nele, fazer desenhos, anotações, pinturas, colagens, ler a história e ainda uma outra ideia é deixar que a criança escreva/desenhe, faça sua arte nele e guardar como recordação de infância.

But what to do with such a book? You can paste photos in it, make drawings, notes, paintings, collages, read the story and yet another idea is to let the children write / draw, make their art in it and keep as a childhood memory.

Quando meus filhos eram pequenos eu ainda não fazia livros artesanais, então eu comprava cadernos de desenho pra que eles pudessem desenhar, pintar e colar o que quisessem, pra que fossem criativos. Muitas vezes eles desenhavam em folhas soltas também e o resultado é que tenho umas 2 bolsas cheias de folhas soltas com as artes deles, da época em que eram crianças. Também guardei os cadernos de desenho mas se eles fossem assim bonitos como este Story Journal seria ótimo. 

When my children were small I was not making handmade books yet, so I used to buy sketchbooks so they could draw, paint and paste whatever they wanted, so they could be creative. Often they drew on loose sheets too and the result is that I have about 2 bags full of loose sheets of paper with their arts, from the time they were children. I also kept the sketchbooks but if they were so cute like this Story Journal would be great.

Essa é uma ótima ideia pra quem tem filhas pequenas, ou afilhadas, ou pra quem precisa dar um presente pra alguém que tenha. Além disso, as folhas com gramatura 120 permitem que seja usado também como álbum de fotos. 

This is a great idea for those who have small daughters, or godchildren, or who need to give a gift to someone who has. In addition, sheets weighing 120 allow the journal to be used as a photo album.
